The imaginary forest
An aesthetic writing of nature
The IMAGINARY FOREST is an original installation in Visual Art that addresses man's connections to nature. The work features portraits of trees drawn in ink, most often in large formats, executed in the spirit of Asian calligraphy in almost one line.
Allegory consists of installing kakemonos suspended in places large enough to reconstruct an imaginary forest. Every visual is unique. It represents the footprint of a living tree. The installation is ventilated enough to allow the public to circulate from one portrait to another, so that it takes time to soak up powerful calligraphy and associated texts.
The imaginary forest is always looking for new places to implant.
